You know how old you are, legal – no matter how much you refuse, this number does not change.
But what about your fitness age? This is a completely different measure that can go up and down depending on your vital signs. The term was coined in 2006 by the Norwegian Ulrik Wisløff, a professor of motor physiology, who developed an algorithm to tell you how old your body really is (at least according to its standards).
