In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper – also known as a dermatologist and TLC moderator Dr. Sandra Lee – four of her favorite pops that all seem sticky blackheads. And wait until you see the one that looks like a bean sprout.
In the first of the four clips, Dr. Lee grows in a patient's arm to offer him an escape route. She then uses a comedone extractor to apply pressure and get out a sticky blackness. Next, the famous derm tackles a similar growth behind another patient's ear. In third place, Dr. Lee's magic on this sprout-like nose blackhead that snakes out in a stunning white spiral. And finally Dr. Lee puts on a seemingly rear blackhead that pops out with astonishing ease.
One fan commented: "Was that an alfalfa sprout you pushed out of this nose?" Several other fans commented with similar comparisons.
The growths that Dr. Lee removed in this video, all seem to be blackheads. A blackhead is a single pore that is filled with dead skin and oil and forms a black “head” in the air. The white or brown part of a blackhead hidden under the surface of the skin is actually the same material as the black cap, except that this material has not been oxidized to create a black color.
