Total Gym Addicts, Derek's Story



Hello, my name is Derek Ball and I would like to share my story with you. In October 2017 I had raised 370 pounds, from October 2018 I weigh 240 pounds.

The road to success was a difficult one, but I could not help it.

In January 2018, I woke up one morning and knew I had to change something … well, I did it and I did not look back. I knew I needed a kind of exercise equipment, but I was not sure what to get because there is so much. I came across an infomercial about Total Gym and knew I had to get one. I've seen them before and always thought to myself, "If Chuck Norris says it works, then I have no doubt." The rest is history, I got a Total Gym in February 201

8 and used it every week. I do physical exercises that take about 1 hour each. Usually 3 sets of 15-20 repetitions. Between my sets I take a break for a few minutes.

In addition to the training, I changed my eating habits. I cook a lot more at home and no fast food. I changed to water and abstained from high-calorie drinks. I also avoid bread, sugar, high fructose corn syrup and things like that. A normal day for me would be scrambled eggs with turkey sausage, banana and yoghurt, apples with peanut butter, followed by baked chicken breasts back. In addition to the loss of 130 pounds, I lost 16 pants sizes and 3 shirt sizes. My energy has increased, my stamina is much higher, I am a happy person on the whole, changing my ways and getting well. Thank you for reading my story, and I hope that it will inspire at least one person to change their ways for the better.
