Just like his Marvel character Loki, Tom Hiddleston knows how to keep secrets.
In an interview with MTV the actor announced that Loki would get his own spin-off series at Disney + six weeks before the worldwide release of Avengers: Infinity War which meant that He had to keep it for a few months.
Not only that, he also knew two years in advance that Loki was in the opening scene of Infinity War would be killed.
"The death scene at the beginning of the Infinity War (19459004) was final," he said. "That was two years before we filmed it, when I played Kevin [Feige] over Th or Ragnarok."
The god of mischief easily broke his neck in an assault on the Asgardian ship of Thanos. Hiddleston was of the opinion that he had played Loki for the last time, but later for a cameo appearance in Avengers: Endgame (19459005).
And now he will play the character more than ever in his own Disney + series.
"I know this character now," he said. "I feel that the audience knows him, and to play it honestly, but to confront him with new challenges, if I have to change him in different ways, is the most exciting aspect of it."
"They have his special talents: his intelligence, his treachery, his evil, his magic and then his encounter with more terrible adversaries he has never seen or known.
Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be Loki the second Marvel TV show to appear on Disney + in the spring of 2021.
