Tip: Time Block Training 101



What is Time Block Training?

This will create a circuit, a set number of reps per exercise, and as many sentences as possible within the selected timeframe.

Let's say you have 15 minutes to train. Set a 15-minute time frame and do as much quality as possible within the given time.

With time blocks, you have the freedom to choose your own pace. They could keep the weight lighter and make for a faster pace and more work. Or you could maintain consistent rest, increase weight and work less.

There is a lot of autoregulation, but you can train with it, depending on how you feel on a particular day within the time you have. Physiologically, more work in less time can lead to more metabolic stress and muscle damage, both of which play a role in muscle building.

Procedure

You have finished your squats and have 1

5 minutes left to beat the showers. In this case, you should do your exercises for 15 minutes on cycle circuit and complete as much work as possible.

  • A. Incline Bench Press x 8
  • B. Breast supported dumbbell row x 8
  • C. Tilt Dumbbell Biceps Curl x 8

Make as many sets as possible in the 15 minutes.
