As the National Yoga Month finishes, people around the world will be asked to practice yoga at 7:00 pm today. Local time as part of Time for Yoga, a mass wave of yoga around the globe.
The Yoga Health Foundation organized the event as a way to encourage people to spend between 5 minutes and one hour each day to stop the hustle and bustle of life and practice yoga. (There is something about the idea that people around the world do yoga in a mass wave.)
Yoga is a great exercise for general physical and mental health. It can help build your strength, stretch your muscles, boost your metabolism, and relieve stress.
If you are not flexible or have difficulty choosing between the different types of yoga, here are some beginner tips for getting started with Time for Yoga.
- Do yoga outdoors to get some fresh air and connect with nature.
- Take a few friends and put together your own workout. Arrange a place for how long you practice and pick out the poses in which you feel comfortable. You can even add your own music to the workout!
