One thing that I will never get tired of is the smell of the beach in summer. It is something to get a hint of salty beach water on a sunny day that helps me relieve stress. Though I expected to breathe a fair amount of sea air this season, I never thought that one of the first places I would do that would be the fragrance fragrance at my local destination where I was going to Opalhouse Driftwood and Sea discovered salt spray.

The Opalhouse driftwood and sea salt room spray smells exactly as it is described in the bottle, and combines subtle notes of blue sage and sea salt to create a perfect repetition of an actual sea breeze. I really only need two to three sprays to cover an entire room, but I like to spray a few more because I love the smell so much. Just like my favorite primers, this spray is buildable, making it easy to customize the fragrance to my liking. It also does a great job as an odor neutralizer in the bathroom. Just like the smell of a gust of wind on the coast, this spray helps to calm my surroundings as soon as I stop using them. Sometimes when I close my eyes I can almost imagine what it’s like to be on the coast. While I still plan to make it to the beach this season (of course socially distant), I’ll still stock up on a few bottles of my new favorite room spray to keep it in the sand for moments in the house. This multi-purpose fragrance captures the essence of the summer sea in a bottle.
