There are a few different methods you can use to minimize the visibility of a thinning hairline or bald spot, from changing the way you cut and style your hair to more drastic measures like getting a tattoo on your scalp. In a recently released YouTube video, Harry James experimented with hair-building fibers and documented the results.
“I have a feeling when you start using it [fibers]It’s a bit slippery to become dependent on them, “he says in the video above.
James begins washing and drying his hair thoroughly after waxing out his shaved head to test how effective the GoFybr sample is on his bald spot. Then he generously shakes the fibers on his thinned areas. A little also generous turns out; The powder clumps a lot at the front of his head, but he has trouble applying it evenly to the back.
“That looks so shitty,”
After finally succeeding in properly coating his thinning area, James sets off for a day at the coast. “If I wore this every day, I’d be afraid a lot of people would notice,” he says before putting the fibers to the ultimate test: surfing.
Some of the fibers rub off while he puts on his wetsuit, and after spending some time in the water, it turns into dark mud on his head, causing James to shave his entire head again.

“If you have a very slight thinning, maybe a small splash of these hair fibers would have filled in part of that thinning area and made it look thicker,” he says. “But with this short style it’s an absolute no-go.”
