One of the hard-to-avoid side effects of such a long period of time indoors over the past few months has been that many people have gained weight. Without a real routine and snacks that were always available, it was far too easy to set up quarantine 15.
For YouTuber Aaron Burriss, however, this unprecedented free time was the ideal opportunity to make positive changes to his diet and lifestyle. Over four months it fell from £ 230 to £ 185.
“I lost 45 pounds during the quarantine,” he says. “Which was really difficult because we were stuck at home and honestly had the opportunity to just sit on the couch and watch Netflix and eat pizza and cookies and just plain bad food.”
“Fortunately, my brother and I live together and he’s a great motivator,” he continues. “He really motivated me to train. So he managed to train with me, eat right, just be active and have a goal.”
Four months later, Aaron is visibly slimmer. “I look very thin, I feel very, very light,” he says. “As you can see, my husband’s breasts [are gone] And I have no more love handles

He adds that there is still some belly fat that “was a real pain to get rid of”. To lean even further down, he recently started incorporating cardio into his workouts – specifically while running. “It’s so different and so much more difficult than I expected,” he says.
Now that he’s lost weight, Aaron plans to focus his efforts on building strength and muscle to get into the absolute best shape of his life by the end of the year.
