This bodyweight home workout burns fat in 15 minutes



Now that we're all quarantined outside of Zoom Happy Hour and don't live a social life, there's really no excuse for not finding time to exercise. But just in case your home schedule is inexplicably full, Athlean-X founder Jeff Cavaliere C.S.C.S. just found a highly efficient way to burn fat.

Cavaliere's latest home training was developed to burn the lower body, upper body and core in just 15 minutes without the need for equipment. He describes the training as "torture", but that's exactly what it's about: pushing yourself and feeling these effects in a few minutes. It is even structured so that everyone is able to do this regardless of their individual ability.

The entire training is divided into a series of steps, each lasting 30 seconds. If you are a beginner, Cavaliere recommends doing the first three moves for only 1

5 seconds each. If you are more advanced, do it for 20 or 25 seconds. So if you work at the beginner level and do the exercise for 15 seconds, it means that you can rest in this 30-second window for another 15 seconds. If you do it for 20 seconds, rest the remaining 10 seconds and so on.

In each segment of the training, the fourth and final exercise is the "burnout" move, which must be carried out for 30 seconds – here you will really feel this fatigue.

The lower body segment of the training consists of the split squat lateral hop, the ratchet squat, the prisoner walkup and the "burnout" movement, the sidewinder. The movements of the upper body are the hover-hop, the step-through pushup, the pushup-toe-tap and the hover pulse. The core movements are the rotary lobe, the black widow's knee vests, lateral climbers who end with the V-Sit pulse burnout.
