Not all Marie Kondo go here, but I have no time for "stuff". Between the bike lessons, the 9-5 drift and the squeezing training for myself, I live my life on the road, and my equipment has to hold up – not to mention that I'm looking at it from a distance. So when I stare at a product, I wonder if it would somehow improve my life: will it make me faster? Less sore Just happy? The last one is super valid, trust me.

There are many reasons to make purchases, and finding a "why" usually helps me to be a smarter consumer and brings me products that I really love. After all, life is too short to waste time on "things." Here's the equipment that keeps me going every day, no matter how hard the race gets.

A tracker that fits my goals (and wrists)

I currently use the Garmin Forerunner 645 music to train for a few races, and I am officially an Apple Watch converter. This baby does it all – activity and sleep tracking, Vo2Max and recovery coaching, a frighteningly long battery life (seven days in smartwatch mode) and room for 500 songs so you can make calls without a phone. His big brother, the Forerunner 935, is a bit more data rich, but has a much bigger face. With my wobbly wrists the 645 is just right.

These Floaty-Light Running Shoes

New Balance shoes have never been my reference for running, but these lightweight sneakers have changed all that. The Fresh Foam LAZR V2 has a fairly supportive sole, a raised pocket for the Achilles tendons and a great jump. The knit material on the upper part of the shoe almost gives the impression of walking in some comfortable socks, which is great for someone like me who has broken a toe that never seems to heal. Not to be totally curious, but they have not been released yet – you can use their hands (feet?) Against them on March 1st.

Sorry for the frightening description, but I think you must Feelings for Addressing Stash Pocket St Tight by Athleta Understand. They are super soft, but high rising and compressing, and you will feel incredible in any yoga or barre class (they are also my point of contact for maximum comfort when traveling). The Pre-Workout Dream Team

I know I know everywhere now. And sure, coffee and CBD may sound like a contradictory combo, but listen to me for a second: Lately, this CBD coffee from Jane West has my version of a pre-workout, and I'm really into it. Obviously, caffeine helps If my alarm sounds so adorable at 5:30, but I'm also convinced that CBD helped me feel more focused during my training.
