"Stop messing with my emotional brother," Johnson wrote in an Instagram post. "We have a lot more laugh together, I love you, man, stay strong." Johnson and Hart have collaborated multiple times, at Central Intelligence and Hobbs & Shaw and a strong bond – that often takes the form of roast other on social Media, but is clearly rooted in mutual respect.
Actor Terry Crews, who has appeared in Soul Plane and Real Husbands of Hollywood alongside Hart, also tweeted his congratulations last night. Breaking Bad Star Bryan Cranston also went on Instagram to send Hart "positive energy and healing thoughts" and call him "a good person". Cranston and Hart worked together on last year's comedy drama The Upside.
Other comedy stars have shared "get well soon" messages, including Jamie Kennedy, Arsenio Hall, Paul Reiser, Sherrie Shepherd, Brad Garrett, and Ronald Funches.
