Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has put himself in the best shape of his life about the unexpected quarantine-induced interruption to his busy schedule, posting regular updates on social media from his famous fully equipped home gym, which he dubbed the “Iron Paradise”. And as we all know, no training session is complete without the right playlist to keep us all on our toes and hold out when things get tough.
In an Instagram post this week, Johnson announced that he is currently working with music streaming giant Spotify to create the ultimate workout playlist that he will make available for everyone to listen to. And he wants his fans to submit their own favorite songs for review.
“I need your best training jams!” He wrote photos of some of his existing selections in a caption. “I’m working with @spotify to create an initial workout playlist of its kind for you, using Banger from my personal #IronParadise list. I have thousands of my favorite workout tracks, but this list is only 30. I have Chosen 27 by some of my personal favorites and now I need YOUR SUGGESTIONS so I can choose my last 3 songs. Any genre is welcome as long as it gets your blood pumping and ready to kill. “
Johnson’s various recent picks include “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins, “Enter Sandman” by Metallica, “All Eyes on Me” by Tupac, “Paradise City” by Guns N ‘Roses, and “Fight the Power” by Public Enemy and ‘to kill in the name’ through anger against the machine.

This isn’t the first time Johnson has shared the Iron Paradise soundtrack with fans. In 2017, he teamed up with Apple Music and his old friends at WWE to create a playlist of epic workout songs, including ‘Boyz-N-The Hood’ by NWA, ‘Down With the Sickness’ by Disturbed, and’ Runaway Baby ‘. by Bruno Mars. (You can never blame the man for not having versatile taste.)
More recently, he has raved about Big Sean’s ‘Berserk’ track with A $ AP Ferg and said it would “rotate permanently” during his training.
