" If you take a break from alcohol, your energy may increase, "says Kristin Koskinen, RDN, dietitian. By drinking, the supply of B vitamins (which are crucial for a sustainable energy supply) is used up. "Like most nutrients, B vitamins have not one single purpose, so you can have an impact on your energy and mood when you drink alcohol," she says.
