Regular jelly beans are a fun, fruity treat, but how about CBD-infused? David Klein, the genius behind Jelly Belly Jelly Beans, has given the chewing candy to Candy a makeover from 2019 with Spectrum Confections – a cannabidol (CBD) infused jelly bean line – Now are jelly beans that I have in would like to find an easter egg. Klein sold his rights to Jelly Belly in 1980, according to Cannabis Aficionado but candies were still in his head. After recently recognizing the benefits of CBD, he wondered, "Does anyone make a jelly bean with CBD?" he told the socket. He could not find any and saw an opportunity to restore sweets that could help people.
Spectrum Confections, the Klein company, produces CBD-infused jelly beans in 38 different flavors. He says strawberry cheesecake is one of his favorites and other flavors like roasted marshmallow, piña colada, cinnamon, spicy licorice and mango. According to the website, each Jelly Bean has 10 mg of CBD and is ground with dextrose to mask the CBD flavor.
The beans are also found in sugar-free and acidic varieties. Klein is definitely up to something, because the CBD jelly beans are currently out of print. The website states to use the contact form or send an e-mail to the company for information on where to buy the Spectrum Jelly Beans.
In response to a comment on Facebook, Spectrum Confections wrote: "We are a manufacturer and only sell bulk units to distributors, and we see our suppliers selling for about $ 2.00 per 10-mg jelly bean." So keep an eye out for the CBD jelly beans.
We've contacted the company for more information on availability and timing at which the Jelly Beans are back online. We will update when we hear again.
