Personal trainer and nutritionist Paul Kerton said he was "blind as a bat". Until he changed his diet and became vegan, an interview with the Daily Mail says. The 45-year-old from Norwich, England, said he noticed a significant change in his vision within the first six months after taking animal products out of his diet. The bodybuilder admitted to consuming as much animal protein as he could to gain mass before his partner called him veganism.
"There was a time when I probably ate more animal products than anyone else you've ever met," Kerton said. "I was in such a rush to grab the muscles, so I ended up eating 500 grams of animal protein every day."
He said his contact lenses have halved since veganization, but also his improved eyes for using his eye supplements to cannabidiol (CBD). "My ophthalmologist almost fell off his chair during an eye exam … and I saw how much my eyesight improved," Kerton said in an interview.
Although Kerton wears contact lenses, he sees things much more clearly, "I still wear contact lenses, but they are only half as strong as they used to be," he said. "I believe from the bottom of my heart that it's veganism, and I've set myself the task of showing the world the amazing power of vegan whole foods in terms of athletic performance and the prevention, treatment and even reversal of chronic diseases."
