Date for the Journal: Various dates in November 2018
What is it? A series of 22 events that are held across the UK to support the annual Movember Foundation event, in which mustaches are celebrated Helping Men's Health. Most events have 5K and 10K races. In November you can always participate in a virtual event. Mustaches are encouraged, but you do not have to grow yourself – sticking or donning is absolutely acceptable so anyone can join.
Where is it? Every Monday the MoRunning train is displayed Go to new locations in the UK starting on the 3rd of November with Leeds and Aberdeen and on the 25th with Belfast, Whitstable and Greenwich. RSBC Eye Tracking
Diary Date: November 4, 2018
What is it? Put on a blindfold, tie yourself to someone you trust, and execute 5K or 10K to guide you through each step. The event raises money for the Royal Society for Blind Children. If you do not have a person with whom you can walk, you can participate as an individual, and the organizer of the race will combine you with another runner. You can also exchange the blindfold with your partner during the run so that both of you can experience what it's like to be out of sight.
Where is it? The race takes place in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, mostly in width. flat paths, and it's not a timed event. This is about experience and not about races.

Supernova Run – The Kelpies
Date for the Journal: 9.-11. November
What is it? The Kelpies are a pair of 30 meter high horse head sculptures in Falkirk. They are noticeable at any time, but especially at night, when they are lit in different colors. These three 5K runs (one night each) follow a route around the Kelpies, asking runners to carry as much fluorescent and luminous material as possible.
Where is it? Helix Park, home of the Kelpies, located between Falkirk and Grangemouth.

Cancer Research UK Tough 10
Dates for the Journal: November 17, 2018
What's this? ] A series of 10km races across the country where the Cancer Research team has made great efforts to find challenging off-road courses.
Where is it? There is only one open job event in 2018. The Box Hill event is rated three out of three for toughness. So expect a lot of work.

Tribe x Maverick Run Free Festival
Date for the Journal: November 17, 2018
What is this trail running? Festival in the South Downs with 10 km and 22 km race. Expect to be tested by the downhills, with the longer descent requiring nearly 500m of climbing. The view will be worthwhile.
Where is it? The event takes place at Hollycombe Steam in the Country, where you'll find all sorts of steam-powered rides and trains. There will also be beer and hot food, which will be more urgent right after the race than a steam carousel.

Hog's Back Road Race
Date for the Journal: December 2, 2018
What is it? An 11.4 km long road around the Loseley Estate near Guildford. The distance may seem inexplicable at first glance – there are not many 11.4 km of roads – but it all becomes clear if you check your GPS map and find out you've made a pig with your route. Expect much more kudos on Strava than usual.
Where is it? Loseley Park is a scenic estate south of Guildford in Surrey. The race is mainly driven on paved roads with a short section on gravel roads.

Run For Your Elf
Diary Journal: December 8, 2018
What is it? A six-hour timed event where you cover as many rounds as you can with a distance of 5.3 km – on the Thames path as you wish. Even if you choose only one round, you'll get an elven medal (think, Will Ferrell, not Legolas), and if you make four or more, you'll also get a special pin.
Where is she? The run takes place at the Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club in Egham, Surrey. Each round follows a round trip along the Thames.

London Santa Dash
Diary Date: December 9, 2018
What is it? If you're the kind of person who loves nothing more than dressing up as Santa Claus If you're running 5K or 10K, you're well-served at the many events that you can do just that during the holidays. This Santa Dash collects money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and has a beautiful post-race village with a marching band and piles of minced pies.
Where is it? Both 5K and 10K events take place on Clapham Common.

The Saltwood Boxing Day Run
Date for the Journal: December 26, 2018
What is it? A Boxing Day classic. This event, now in its 44th year, is the perfect one-way street to work a hangover on a Christmas day plowing through five kilometers of muddy hills.
Where is it? Saltwood is a village near Folkestone in Kent. If you do not live nearby, entering Saltwood on Boxing Day is not particularly appealing, but if you're in the vicinity, be sure to try.

Date for the journal: December 30, 2018
What is it? A 10km or 10km mostly off the road through muddy fields. An effective way to reduce all extra calories spent over Christmas.
Where is it? Both runs take place at Butler's Lands Farm in Berkshire, with the High / Lowlight of both being the last 400m of the route through a particularly muddy cabbage field.
