His whole life was a 1: 1 shot, and now the biggest underdog story ever made is even better … by a real dog. A video of a very good boy, working like legendary movie boxer Rocky Balboa, has become viral and has even caught the attention of Sylvester Stallone, who created the character and played it for the last 40+ years.
"If ROCKY got a new dog this could happen !!" He wrote a caption for the video, which puts the puppeteer to the test in a series of settings that pay homage to Rocky 's legendary training montage , The incredibly well-trained dog even recreates the scene in which Rocky beats a piece of meat ̵
The video was originally posted by a Stallone fan account: The Year in Hand refers to the first Rocky movie.
Rocky Balboa was known to have its own dog: a huge bull mastiff called Butkus, which appeared in Rocky and Rocky II and was actually part of Stallone in real life. In the original version of Rocky Stallone wrote that his character had an "unkempt flea", but the film's budget was so tight he could not afford a trained showbusiness pet, so Butkus got the role. He passed away in 1981, but according to an interview Stallone gave in 2015, he is still his desktop wallpaper.
Now we know that one dog can never replace another – but the grubby outsider in the video shows a big butcus of energy despite its slim size.
