If you do not get enough vitamin C in your skincare, you'll love the latest Sunday Riley product, which is full of the main ingredient.
In general, I'm not a I have a combination skin and often find that oil-based formulas make my T-Zone too greasy, so I was excited to try out the new Sunday Riley CEO Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil (Buy It, $ 80, dermstore.com) I was also skeptical of how my skin might react.
It turned out that I did not have to worry about it, even though I had previously used Vitamin C Serum, I noticed some important improvements as I put this oil into my routine: First, my dehydrated winter skin just felt softer and more nutritious. Depending on how my skin feels every morning, I alternately change the rich oil right in my face after cleansing (if I think it needs a little more TLC) or mix a few drops into my regular moisturizer to get a boost to obtain. The fragrance is beautiful and subtle ̵
I also noticed fewer outbreaks, which could be due to some of the other components of the formula, especially golden turmeric (it contains curcumin, a powerful antioxidant that can prevent acne) and evening primrose, another well-known pimple fighter. Sunday Riley fans may find that many of these ingredients are those of the popular C.E.O. similar to the brand. Vitamin C Brightening Serum. The main difference, in my experience, is that the oil feels slightly moisturizing and may be better for those with sensitive skin. And because it's so moisturizing, it's ideal for cold weather, as it helps to nix dry areas while delivering the brightening powers of Vitamin C.
Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil is available in two sizes: $ 40 for a 0.5 ounce. Bottle and $ 80 for a 1.18 oz. Bottle and is available atmstore.com, sephora.com and nordstrom.com.
