Coconut Oil

The presence of medium chain fatty acids in coconut oil acts as fungicides that destroy the infection. Fatty acids damage the membranes of the fungus and can help combat mild to severe skin infections.

Instructions for use:

  • Apply coconut oil three times a day directly to the affected area
  • If used regularly, it will not only help fight fungal infections, but also serve as a moisturizer to prevent future fungal infections ,

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

ACV has antifungal properties that help treat itching and dryness caused by a fungal infection. It essentially neutralizes the pH, which fights these infections.

Use:

  • Apply apple cider vinegar to the affected area with a cotton swab.
  • Three times a day
  • Wash with water after 15 minutes

    Garlic is another good ingredient that can treat your infection. No studies have shown that garlic can fight all fungal infections. However, it has been shown that the chemical properties present in garlic inhibit the growth of the Candida fungus, which is responsible for the fungal infection.

    Instructions for use:

    • Make a paste with crushed garlic cloves
    • Add olive oil or coconut oil.
    • Apply a thin layer to the infected areas and cover with a light cotton cloth.
    • Let it rinse for 2 hours
    • Do this twice a day until the infection is completely cleared.

    Aloe Vera

    Aloe vera contains antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties that help combat such infections. The gel has cooling properties, so it also soothes the skin.

    • Take an aloe vera leaf and extract the gel from it.

    Turmeric

    The turmeric curcumin contained in turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that can help with fungal infections. You can consume turmeric milk or tea or apply to the affected areas.

    • Take half a tablespoon of turmeric and add some water or coconut oil.
