Who is the strongest person you know? My wife. I saw her go through a C-section like a champion to give birth to our baby. That's great strength for me.

Why is fitness important to you? Staying in shape is a routine that motivates me in other areas of my life. It gives me self-confidence and an unprecedented energy. I also want to live as long and as full of life as possible, and fitness helps me stay healthy.
What's the last thing that made you cry? I just watched The Ferryman on Broadway. It is a deeply powerful piece with a captivating plot and a beautiful acting from the entire cast.
Who is the strongest person you know? My mother. She is a primary school teacher and gives these children all their energy, knowledge and compassion. No matter what happens in her life, she truly believes in connecting with her students. It's all that strength for me, and her students have no idea how lucky they are as a teacher.

Who is the strongest person you know ? My dad. I've seen him sacrificing so much for his family throughout his life. When I was younger, he also survived a fight against cancer.
How has the #Metoo movement changed the way you interact with women in the world? I grew up with very high morals and my parents taught me to respect women at all costs. The #Metoo movement has not changed as I treat women. However, it has made me more aware and compassionate about what women have to deal with on a daily basis. #MeToo has made me appreciate women even more.

Why is fitness important to you? Being able to truly enjoy life without physical obstacles is the key to me. This means being able to participate in any sport / activity / exercise / event without worrying about being able or not. Also, being able to enjoy what I eat, if I choose not to follow my normal diet – and not to judge myself.
What was the last thing you did that was really fun? I was Indoor Skydiving!
Who is the strongest person I know? My mother. An immigrant who came to this country with two small children and my father. Left her family in Brazil. Learning a new language Worked with racism and effort to start living in a new country. With all this and much more, she could still look after her family, teach us great values, and still be positive about what life has to offer.

What is your favorite exercise and why? Ironman triathlons! It's a great mix of swimming, cycling and running, as well as your mind! As a paralyzed athlete, my own challenges alone are driven only by my arms. But even more rewarding is when I take the legendary words "Glenn Hartrick … YOU ARE EIRONMAN" in Kaliua Kona, Hawaii, at the 2018 Ironman World Championships, as I walked down Ali's Drive.
What the last thing that made me cry? I cried twice on the same day on October 13, 2018, when I attended the Ironman World Championships. I was hit by a car four years ago and paralyzed during training for an Ironman. I thought of all the blood, sweat and tears that brought me back to the toughest day in the sport. I thought back to all the people who encouraged me to return to this day, especially my mother, whom I had just lost last year. And then, when I crossed the finish line.

They are fast and powerful movements that help to improve and develop fast-twitch muscle fibers, increase muscle and strength, and require overall coordination of movement. They are also a lot of fun because I generally enjoy explosive fitness training!
What's your cheating meal? Brownie a la fashion. I love it especially when the brownie is nice and hot. Delicious
What would you like if you had more time or energy? With my wife and children around the world. Travel is a big part of the personal fulfillment of my life. If you offer the things you really love to those you really love, you can become more vulnerable. They want them to be part of what makes you happy.
