Cal / Serv:
sack of frozen sweet dark cherries
2% Greek yoghurt, more if needed,
2% milk plus more if required
fresh pomegranate seeds
- Place cherries, yoghurt, pomegranate juice, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and ice cubes in a blender. Purée until well blended and smooth. The mixture should be slightly thicker than an average smoothie, but not so thick that it can not be poured. If the smoothie is too thick, add a few tablespoons of milk. If it is too thin, add a few tablespoons of yogurt.
- Pour the smoothie into four bowls. Add two tablespoons of pistachios and two tablespoons of pomegranate seeds.
- Serve immediately.
You can buy pre-packaged pomegranate seeds, also known as arils, in the refrigerated section of your supermarket.
