Lou Ferrigno really wants you to stand out in the gym from your damn phone

Lou Ferrigno reached the status of a bodybuilding legend in his heyday when he personally stood on the Olympic stage with Arnold Schwarzenegger and played the Incredible Hulk before CGI turned a man into a jade-faced monster. It goes without saying that Ferrigno has always taken his training seriously and at the age of 67 is still hard at the gym to stay in top form.

Failing to know how to build and maintain muscle, this is not surprising. Surprisingly, Ferrigno occasionally publishes training tips and videos on Instagram. On Wednesday, however, he went on the platform to draw attention to a gym animal: users of mobile phones, which take up unnecessary space in the gym during exercise. [1

Is anyone as frustrated as I am about people who do not take the gym seriously? «#Gymmanners #gymettiquette #trainordont #pumpingiron #physique #bodybuilding #louferrigno #lift #ferrignofit #ferrigknow #passion #muscle #gains #fitnessmotivation #gymvideo #fitnesstips #getoffyourphone #ferrignolegacy #takeyourworkout @theofficiallouferrigno) on May 29, 2019 at 11: 52 PDT

Let's be honest: Either you hate it when people make this all-too-common step, or you are the person so engrossed in your phone that you tell a legendary bodybuilder to wait a few minutes as you scroll through your social feeds and text your mother. If you are the latter Ferrigno has no time for your bullshit.

At the end of the video, he shares his tips for athletes who are tired of their training being interrupted by slackers. If you can do it without being rude, Ferrigno recommends telling the person that if they are not here to train, they should not spend time in the gym. If social interaction in the middle of training is not your thing, Ferrigno recommends continuing with another exercise and dealing with the problem later.

"Do not be discouraged," he said. "Find another machine and complain to the manager."

Whether you tackle the problem with Ferrigno's suggested approaches or not, one thing is certain: you do not want to be this guy in the gym and you do not want to upset the incredible Hulk.
