Is Elisabeth Shue coming back for ‘Cobra Kai’?

  • After the first broadcast on YouTube Premium Cobra Kai recently dropped on Netflix.
  • Consisting of The karate kid universeThe series begins 34 years after the film ends.
  • With Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, fans wonder if actress Elisabeth Shue will appear.

The ’80s spawned a lot of unnecessary trends – mullet and high waisted jeans to name a few – but the one thing we do do I wish we could make a living from that decade again when we saw the classic Karate kid for the first time. Fortunately, the 80s are back thanks to Netflix.

Last month, Netflix suspended both seasons of Cobra Kai, a series after the upper floor K.arate kid and take up almost four decades after the events of the film. The original film̵

7;s antagonist, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), reopens the famous Cobra Kai Dojo to kickstart the series’ events. Soon, this ignites his long-standing feud with the star of the original films, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). The show brings these two 1980s stalwarts into the modern age and works perfectly with a great team of writers.

With Zabka and Macchio in the lead roles, it’s important to highlight a person who has not just appeared on the series: Elisabeth Shue, whom fans may remember as Ali Mills, the love interest of both men and the source of their rivalry. As the series alludes to her presence (Johnny clearly isn’t over her all these years later), fans wonder if Shue will make an appearance in the upcoming third season. We know the following so far:

In the show, the character of Ali is mentioned a few times. She comes up when Johnny and Daniel have a drink together and Daniel finally points him in their direction on Facebook. While she isn’t shown on screen (except for a look back at her teenage years), viewers get a glimpse of what happened to her time after high school: she eventually became a pediatric surgeon and married an oncologist she met in medical Faculty.

While Daniel and Johnny haven’t spoken to her in their years in the dojo, Daniel tells Johnny that he keeps up with her via Facebook. We later see Johnny write a note and accidentally send it when someone bumps his shoulder at a bar. As the season ends, we see Johnny’s phone – and Ali has sent him a friend request on his brand new Facebook. Could this be the beginning of a new chapter between the former couple?

Fans already have theories about Ali’s role on the show.

Newsweek contracted in a way that fans plan on Ali’s involvement in the series. One big fan theory is that Ali could be Tory’s mother (Peyton List). This idea stems from the fact that she introduces herself as “Tory with a Y”, just like Ali did when she first met Daniel.

There is also another theory that revolves around the season two finale. Given the extensive injuries Miguel (Xolo Mariduena) sustained while falling down the stairs, the chances are that only Ali, the pediatric surgeon, can save him.
