Intense cardio for those who hate the treadmill

I'm a fan of the treadmill, but I have many otherwise fitness-loving friends doing almost anything but a 30-minute gymnastic run. If you are the same, there are other ways to use the same calorie burning benefits without seemingly boring.

Try Another Machine
Do you think that your heart just comes from the treadmill? Think again. Increase your heart rate with another device in the gym. Try a spinning class to burn bigger calories, check the line machine for a full-body workout, or go full-force on the elliptical. Each of them burns big calories while being less leg and knees.

Intervals
Many people say that they hate the treadmill because it is boring and they do not believe that they can walk long. In both cases, high intensity intervals help. And you do not have to stay on the treadmill. Combine with your favorite cold-weather running gear and hit the slopes, and jog your buoyant runs.

Supersets
No more time? Kill two fat exploding birds with one stone by overcoming your strength training. As you perform each exercise in quick succession, your heart rate will increase. This means that you get your heart and build muscle at the same time. More from FitSugar:

When you go to a dance lesson, fitness can be fun – so fun that you look forward to your training rather than fear it. And since some classes, such as Zumba, are easy to enjoy for beginners and can burn around 500 calories in just one session, they are an optimal choice for those who do not enjoy running.
