Women's ovaries contain millions of eggs since birth, and in each menses, several eggs begin to grow, with one egg ripening in a single cycle and eggs (ova) for the purpose of fertilization. For in vitro fertilization, the ovaries had to deliver more than one egg. Therefore, the ovaries were stimulated by oral medication (Clomiphene citrate 100mg) from the 3rd to the 7th day of their menstrual cycle. The oral medication was assisted by the administration of a human menopausal gonadotropin injection also administered daily between day 5 and day 10 of the cycle intramuscularly at a dose of 75 IU per day. The number and size of growing follicles was monitored by transabdominal sonography. The growth of these follicles indicated that several eggs mature in the ovary. We correlated this with estradiol levels in the blood, a hormone released by the growing follicles. An increase in hormone levels means that the ovaries respond to the treatment and the eggs grow. In this way we could see at least four growing follicles in each of the patient's ovaries.

Follicles had grown adequately, then Inj. On day 13, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) was administered to the patient at 10,000 IU to infuse the egg Mature follicle. This is to prepare the egg for fertilization. Thirty-four hours after hCG, the eggs were retrieved. Using an abdominal approach, the ovaries were seen and a needle was inserted into each follicle to remove the fluid collected in the follicles. This liquid was screened under a microscope for the presence of oocytes / eggs. In this way we found 5 mature eggs and 3 immature eggs.

At the same time the husband's seed was taken, washed and centrifuged. This helped us to isolate the best and fastest moving sperm for fertilization from the sample. The eggs were brought together in a laboratory bowl with the sperm of her husband. The eggs were seen after 24 hours for sperm to enter the egg. After 48 hours and 72 hours for further growth, i. 2-4 cells and 6-8 cells.

On November 30, 1985, we transferred the embryos to the uterus of the patient Maniben. On December 18, we performed a BhCG ​​test, which indicated a positive pregnancy test, and then confirmed the pregnancy by retesting the BhCG ​​test on December 26, 1985. On January 6, 1986, ultrasound was performed, demonstrating a healthy, growing pregnancy.
