Women with big guns
Sun is out, guns out. Literally. Dani has just finished her first Firearms Fundamentals class … not something she thought she would ever do. But you know 2020.
We discuss why she wanted to learn shooting, self-defense, and the competitive sport of shooting – think of a strong man or CrossFit mixed in with things that are booming.
Here is an example that will encourage you to try it out for yourself. Check out competitor Jessica Hook in the physically challenging 3 weapon competition:

The food for abundance
Cover your ears, low carbs. According to a study in the journal Nutrients, the low potato may be the perfect starch to include in your diet. And we couldn’t be happier to hear that the theory we put forward during the after-dinner walks was backed by science.
The researchers had study participants eat meals that contained the same number of calories and macronutrients, just different forms of carbohydrates. Some would have potatoes, some rice, and others would have pasta. The rest of their meals were the same: meat and vegetables.
The meals that contain potatoes make the subjects feel full faster and eat fewer total calories. They also reported staying full longer after eating than with meals containing the other two sources of carbohydrates.
The effects are enormous for those looking to dial into the diet. If you’re trying to cut down on your caloric intake without feeling hungry, potatoes are a smart choice for carbohydrates.
We’ll study the effects of foods based on their volume, educate you about the worst performing carbohydrates, and share some practical tips.
And here is the simple recipe Chris talked about:
