On this Mother's Day Dwayne & # 39; The Rock & # 39; Johnson behind the bar. He conjured up a special recipe called Mana Mamarita just for the mothers in his life. (The Rock has three daughters, FYI.) You can make one for yourself for mom, or hey, just for yourself.

The Rock shared his recipe exclusively with our friends at Women’s Health. The simple cocktail recipe contains only four ingredients and is easily customizable. Here's everything you need to make your own:

The Rock & # 39; s Mana Mamarita (1 serving)

  • 2 oz. Teremana Small Series Tequila Blanco
  • 1 oz. Lime juice
  • ¼ – ½ oz. Agave nectar (to taste)
  • A handful of your mother's favorite ingredients

Instructions: Confuse mom's favorite ingredients (follow The Rock's guide and try mixed up raspberries and blackberries or cucumbers and jalapenos) in a shaker with teremana, lime juice and agave nectar. Shake with ice and strain into a glass over fresh ice. Garnish with more of your mother's favorites.

In this video you can see how The Rock does the cocktail:

A lot of love was put into this cocktail recipe – and also into the tequila. Dwayne and his manager and business partner Dany Garcia and industrial vets Jenna Fagnan and Ken Austin jointly founded Teremana, which is manufactured in a small town in Jalisco Highland, Mexico.

The tequila production process in the Distileria Teremana de Agave is meticulous. The Jimadores (agave farmers) harvest fully matured, naturally sweet agaves, then slowly roast them in small traditional brick ovens and distill in handcrafted copper pot stills.

If that sounds like hard work, it is. But the bright, aromatic tequila result is worth it, according to The Rock. "After years of hard work, this is really a dream come true," he writes on the Teremana website.
