Do you remember the joy of dipping a quarter into the rubber ball machine, turning the dial and rolling a round piece of rubber into your palm? Well, that's the experience, dr. Watch Pimple Popper's latest Instagram video.
In a recent Instagram video released Friday, Dr. Sandra Lee, MD, the dermatologist and TLC star behind Dr. Ing. Pimple Popper account, a patient with a pilar cyst on her head. A pilar cyst (also called trichilemmal cyst or Wen) is a benign cyst that forms around the hair follicle after Healthline . They are usually found on the scalp, as is the case with Dr. Pat's patient. Pimple Popper is the case.
In the video, Lee makes an incision over the lump and begins to apply pressure on both sides. If that does not work, she uses her tools to expand the opening.
"Because it's in the scalp, it will not matter if it has a little fine line there," says Lee. "No one will ever see it again."
