- In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper out a “humorous” blackhead that is rock hard.
- A blackhead of this size is commonly referred to as a Winer enlarged pore, which is essentially a large blackhead compressed into a single enlarged pore.
- Dr. Lee tells fans that the crater-like hole left by removal will close by itself to the size of a normal pore.
Maybe this is Dr. Lee’s most satisfying pop ever. In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper – also known as dermatologist and TLC presenter Dr. Sandra Lee –
In the clip, Dr. Lee the hardened material of the blackheads first, then press the area together well. The condensed content doesn’t move with just a simple push. Dr. Lee reaches for surgical forceps to grab the petrified mass and wiggle it free. The famous derm has seen a lot, and even she says this thing is “humorous” by her standards.
“It’s like a stone!” Calls Dr. Lee out when the stuck stone-like mass is finally free. “Wow! That’s a blackhead! Maybe you have the biggest blackhead award.”
A blackhead of this size is commonly referred to as a winer’s expanded pore. An enlarged pore from winer is essentially a large blackhead that is condensed into a single enlarged pore. This means that the large crater left by this extraction is actually one single pore that was stretched from the contents inside. But don’t worry, the patient won’t have a gaping hole forever.
“The area will shrink on its own, which I left to it,” writes Dr. Lee in the comments section of the post. “I gave the patient the opportunity to come back and have the extra skin removed and then sutured the area.”
