Country singer Justin Carter has died after accidentally shooting for Fox News . The aspiring artist was 35 years old.
His mother Cindy McClellan spoke to Fox explaining that Justin was making a music video when the tragedy occurred. She said the gun, supposedly used as a prop, was in his pocket and "went out and held my son in the corner of my eye."
His relatives also seem to have confirmed the news on Instagram The following post, although the account is not confirmed:
"Please keep Justin's family in your prayers and give them privacy in this difficult time. Justin is no longer with us, he died. He will be missed by all of us, he was always full of joy, laughter and loved by so many people in his life. Justin appreciated all his fans and their support. Justin loved you all. Thank you all for your support! We will have more details and will soon publish how you can help to donate your family with burials and everything! Rest in the sky, my brother!
Justin is reportedly leaving behind two daughters, Dixie and Kaylee. His family has set up a PayPal to cover the costs of funeral and funeral expenses.
