Coming to America 2 is finally moving forward with Eddie Murphy

The Shrek the third actor played the African prince Akeem in the romantic comedy, and he not only wants to repeat the role for a follow-up, but is also the one who has confirmed the news.

A statement from Entertainment Weekly's Murphy reads: "After many years of anticipation, I am thrilled that Coming to America 2 is making official progress.
