As the days get colder and shorter, you may need warmer clothes but you don’t want to spend too much money on new items as the pandemic means you have nowhere to wear them. But an autumn wardrobe doesn’t have to cost the earth. In a new video, men’s model and designer Marcel Floruss (who recently gave subscribers an overview of the essentials of fall fashion) shows how to combine and combine staples from H & M’s fall line by creating seven different looks.
For the first outfit, Floruss wears a brown hoodie from the Blank Staples collection under a gray plaid overshirt with narrow dark blue chinos and cream-colored high-top sneakers. All of the classic tones that go well together for an easy look.
The second outfit is a little smarter. “Suits aren’t the biggest thing right now, so a turtleneck and a nice coat are probably the best thing we can see if we really go together,” says Floruss. He wears an oatmeal turtleneck with a plaid car coat, which he pairs with black chinos and black suede Chelsea boots.
The third look lies somewhere between the casual atmosphere of one and the prettier tone of two: Floruss is wearing a cream-colored long-sleeved T-shirt with brightly colored stripes and medium blue jeans, a pair of brown leather boots and a rich cognac coat.
Outfit number four is tailored and toned down, combining brown chinos with a black quarter-zip sweater, a quilted black vest and a pair of black boots. “Of course, this isn’t for your coldest days; this is more like early fall,” he says.
For the fifth outfit, Floruss romps with earth tones that are his favorite pastime in fall fashion: chocolate brown hoodie, light brown bomber jacket, faded green chinos and brown leather boots. “For me, this is the ultimate fall streetwear-esque casual aesthetic,” he says.

The sixth outfit is the fanciest of them all: a long, fitted coat in forest green, a light brown long-sleeved T-shirt, gray checked pants and dark brown suede boots. “I didn’t repeat any of the colors that I usually do,” he explains. “They all work together in this earth tone family.”
The final outfit is more casual on the streetwear side and consists of a black waterproof utility jacket, black cargo pants, a red long-sleeved T-shirt, and gray and black boots.
