7;s health Maximus body Book, hosted the final session. Maximus makes a point of exercising without equipment when he has a fully equipped gym. Therefore, creating an accessible session for men stuck at home with no access to equipment fits perfectly with his training style.

“Don’t get confused: simple doesn’t mean easy,” says Maximus. Today’s workout couldn’t be easier – it’s only two movements, and you’ve probably done them before. But the session is heavy. You mix a customized EMOM protocol in which you perform a prescribed number of repetitions in a specified period (in this case 30 seconds) with longer active rest periods.

Just make sure to focus on how you do the repetitions even when you are tired. “If you want to do something that involves a score or a count, you have to be in perfect shape,” says Maximus. “Your count doesn’t mean shit when you have garbage form.”

The rounds last 2 minutes each. Perform 5 burpees in the first 30 seconds of the round. In the remaining 90 seconds, do as many squats as you can while counting. Repeat for a total of 10 rounds.
