Katie Chung Hua is no stranger to social media. But at a time when it's hard to say when an online trainer is legitimate, she even admits that there are many fakes ̵

1; but she's not one of them. The IFBB Pro League bikini athlete has more than 60,000 followers on Instagram and is part of FitPlan's online personal trainer team. A look at Instagram shows that she stays creative in the gym and knows how to keep fit.

We talked to Hua about training, bad pickup lines, and tracing counterfeit trainers.

M & F: As an online trainer, do you feel that there are many phonies there?

Katie Chung Hua: Yes. For example, if a Brazilian woman with a more beautiful prey than I am born, an Asian, she will promote a prey development program if she was really born with that butt. I enjoy meeting people and trainers, interviewing them and then helping to work it out for everyone.

Any tips to find the BS artist?

Some people go for this shock factor and do a bicep curl in a different way, though a standard bicep curl is just as effective. Many people try to get views and followers and try to go beyond that. You just have to build everything on science.

Which body part do you prefer?

My buttocks muscles, because it is my weakest part of the body. Genetically, I was not born with a big butt.

You have more than 600,000 followers between Facebook and Instagram, so they're pretty much recognizable. What's the strangest thing that ever happened to you?

At this year's Olympics, someone brought me chocolate-covered macadamia nuts from Hawaii. If you want to bring me food, that is welcome. Which was scary, I had a message from a man who asked me not to crunch in any shirt and squirt water on my abdominals, so it looked like I was sweating.

What was the worst pickup line a guy used on you?

Someone came to me and started to speak Spanish with me and I am Chinese. They did not speak Spanish or Spanish – they thought I was Hispanic.

What's the best advice you would give to someone just starting training?

Set realistic goals. I think too many people overdo it, and then they are completely exhausted, and then they are completely discouraged because they think they should lose ten pounds in two days and it does not work, so give up. I think it's best to set short-term, realistic goals.
