The legend of action film Arnold Schwarzenegger has shown that he still likes his wig and his sword for another big one Adventure on canvas would take as Conan, the fantasy hero, he first played in 1982 Conan the Barbarian and then again in 1984 Conan the Destroyer.
After restarting with Jason Momoa announced Warner Bros That Schwarzenegger would return in the year The Legend of Conan .This film, however, was never realized. In an interview with the fans, Arnie stated that problems with character rights and the estate of Conan's creator Robert E. Howard delays
"When it comes to the movie, the sad stuff in all of this is when there's a legacy … Robert E. Howard's estate … if anyone buys these rights, these people now own the rights and they have their own vision of what they want to do, and the guy who has the rights is a young man trying to figure out how to get around Hollywood, and that's not easy. So there are people who say to him, "Why do not you start with a television series?", Then he negotiates for a television series and that falls apart. And then maybe he goes to Netflix and that falls apart. Then he decides to maybe make a movie. "
Arnie also explained how he would imagine playing the character three decades later.
"We've been trying to convince [the rights holder] for years that the road back to setting up a really great director, shooting another Conan movie and making King Conan play me when Conan is 70 years old and he is disgusted as he sits on the throne and the king is, and after that something happens. It really is not that far to create a finished script.
The idea of Conan as a senior citizen has already been examined in parody form. Terry Pratchett's 1986 novel The Light Fantastic introduced readers to Cohen the Barbarian, a hero torn in the nineties who was a transparent but affectionate tribute to the original character of Robert E. Howard.
Unfortunately, Arnie and Co. are waiting to get approval from the person who currently owns the rights – but he is optimistic that this could happen. "The only one who really has to pull the trigger is the people who own the Conan rights to make a movie," he said. "Let's go to Netflix or whoever it is, we hire a director who is very creative and can turn the project into a great project."
