Embrace yourself as a local and cycle or run to explore new places. Enjoy the sights and sounds along the way. Run down the paths, neighborhoods and streets.
One of my favorite exploration possibilities: sharing a bicycle! The popularity of bike sharing has been on the rise worldwide since the 1960s. In 2017, 35 million bicycle rides took place in the US. It also brings many of us back to childhood. It is a joy and freedom that brings riding. Biking gives us the opportunity to breathe in everything and to go with the river.
Try something new
A highlight of my favorite work trips was my first encounter with Airbnb Experiences. Airbnb experiences are activities designed and directed by inspiring locals. They go beyond typical tours or courses by immersing guests in the unique world of each host. It is an opportunity for anyone to share their hobbies, skills or expertise. Swim with sea lions, hike to hidden waterfalls or learn to surf or cook! Trying out new things is an important part of every health and fitness journey.
Pack up healthy snacks or plan shopping and shopping
Nothing is worse than being hungry on the street or delayed somewhere. Pack healthy snacks such as protein bars, nuts, seeds, dry fruits (in moderation), light popcorn or crackers. If I apply for a while, I even get Amazon Prime snacks in large quantities like Paleo snack packs. You can always stop and buy something yourself, and of course it's best if you can cook for yourself.
Bring your own water bottle and stay with liquid
If you have difficulty getting water into your water In everyday life, it could be even more difficult. Aircraft dehydrate and dry especially. If you bring your own bottle, you will be forced to continue drinking, rather than avoiding overpriced bottled water at the airport. Most of us have water and bloating during the flight. If you drink more water, you can flush out the bloating and keep the body in order.
