Look, nut butter will never ever never disappear (PB & J for life). But seed butter seems to be everywhere lately, especially now that peanut and tree nut allergies are more common. Seed butter is indeed one of the trends you'll see everywhere in 2019.
And seed butter is a great way to confuse your snack game, even if you do not have a nut allergy. "Seed butter has unsaturated fats, protein and tons of vitamins and minerals," says Kim Greene Murachver, RD. "They are a great alternative to nut butters and can be used in the same way: paired with whole-grain toast or fruit in oatmeal or yogurt, or mixed directly from the jar."
